Privacy policy
Last updated 26 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Sophons AI Ltd collects when you use https://sophons-ai.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
We collect only two things, and only when you give them to us.
- Enquiry details. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, company, email address and the message you wrote.
- Anonymous usage statistics. If, and only if, you allow analytics, we record which pages are viewed and roughly where in the world the visit came from. This data is aggregated and cannot be traced back to you.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not build visitor profiles, and we do not sell or share data with data brokers.
Why we are allowed to use it
Enquiry details are processed on the basis of legitimate interests — you contacted us about what we do and expect a reply. Analytics are processed on the basis of consent, which you give or withhold using the banner and can change at any time on our cookie policy page.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then deleted. Analytics data is aggregated and retained indefinitely because it contains no personal data.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of processors to run the site, each bound by a data processing agreement:
- Our hosting provider, to serve the site
- Resend, to deliver contact form submissions to our inbox
- Cloudflare, to protect the contact form from automated abuse
- Plausible Analytics, for privacy-first usage statistics, EU-hosted
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hello@sophons-ai.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
